I was part of the core team that built Samsung’s AI-powered assistant—Bixby—from the ground up for the Galaxy S8, now reaching millions of devices worldwide. Working with AI engineers and designers across multiple time zones, I defined conversation flows that boosted first-time command success rates and streamlined error recovery. By crafting over 40,000 utterances, I enabled Bixby to interpret nuanced, multi-app tasks—like “Send Dad photos from Tokyo and say I love you.” This meticulous scenario mapping ensured a seamless experience across smartphones, wearables, and smart TVs, laying the foundation for an intuitive and globally scalable virtual assistant.

Curve acts as a merchant, allowing transactions to be automatically routed to different cards based on factors like merchant type, MCC code, amount, and location—an unprecedented concept in the market. I led its definition, focusing on user-centered design by exploring payment mental models and simplifying setup. Through extensive research, testing, and iteration, I created intuitive flows for an innovative feature that successfully launched to users.

Maximizing the Edge Design for the Curved Form Factor

Samsung faced challenges following the launch of the Galaxy S5, with sales falling 40% short of expectations. In response, the company innovated by introducing the Galaxy S6 Edge, featuring a distinctive curved edge display. I led the design of the edge interface, developing a shortcut that allows users to connect with their top five favorite contacts by simply swiping the edge screen, emphasizing the device’s unique curved form factor. This design was recognized by multiple media outlets and won a major awards including Good design awards, IDEA 2016, MWC 2015, iF Design Award, and TechRadar.
That wraps up the cases I’ve worked on—now, a bit about me.

I currently lead the product design function at Curve, where I’ve built a high-performing team, developed scalable design systems, and launched innovative products that balance user needs with business goals. Before that, I shaped global experiences at Samsung Mobile—creating AI-driven conversational interfaces and reimagining communication tools like messaging, chatbots, and keyboards.

I thrive on tackling complex complex (yes, twice as complex) challenges through user-centered design, strategic vision, and cross-functional collaboration.

Once an avid hobbyist, my recent passion is now streamlining diaper logistics, crafting delicious baby-friendly dishes, and continuously improving household workflows—a new kind of user-centered design for my 1-year-old daughter.
